I’m back, in a very short time, as promised 🙂
It’s time to tell you about wings.
Con le ali (with wings) is the title of a series of works of Serena de Gier, having, as theme, birds of all varieties, that the young artist, even before on the canvas, portrays almost always with her own hands in photos, by going to the places where you can spot specimens of a particular species.
In September 2013 I had the pleasure of knowing Serena, and discover his work, in the occasion of the opening of the first exhibition dedicated to the series, at the art gallery Evvivanoé in Cherasco (I wrote about in the previous post). Immediately, at first sight, I was fascinated by the subjects and by the interpretation of the artist, who adopts different styles and registers, choosing lighting effects that, personally, I find exciting.
